God Made Me Funky Snapbacks

Liner Notes:

Our "God Made Me Funky" wool blend snapback is inspired by the almost 10 minute long 1975 'funk prayer' "God Make Me Funky" by the Headhunters, the backing funk band for Herbie Hancock in the 70s. "God Make Me Funky" features the Pointer Sisters on backing vocals and comes from the first solo album (without Herbie) by the Headhunters band entitled "Survival Of The Fittest" released in 1975. The classic hard-hitting funk groove, with it's very recognizable break-beat intro, has been sampled by numerous hip-hop artists over the years. Our "God Made Me Funky" tee is the answer to one of the funkiest prayers ever prayed over a break-beat.
